My Daddy takes me to the park and let's me play in the water.
He plays peak-a-boo with me and teaches me how to say "YES" and raise my hands high.
He takes care of me every morning while mommy is at work. He feeds me, changes my poopy bottom, and plays with me. I even get to snuggle with him if I am up too early.
He works hard every day to put all those cute clothes in my closet.
He knows exactly where all my tickle spots are and insists on making me laugh all the time.
I know my Daddy loves me and I love him too.
Happy Father's Day to the BEST Dad in the WORLD.
Avery loves to be outside. She is so content to sit out in the grass or go for a walk in her stroller. She is such an easy going little thing.
Look at her toes in the bottom picture. It cracks me up. Her feet and toes are constantly moving, and this started when she was in the womb. And that's the TRUTH!
My baby loves to shop!! Nana Lloyd totes Avery around with her whenever she goes during the day. We are so lucky to have someone watch our little precious for us every day. And, Avery is lucky too! Isn't she adorable?
Last night I noticed that FINALLY a tooth has broken the surface. The bottom left tooth has made it's glorious appearance. No wonder Avery has been waking up a few time a night again. Her poor little mouth hurts! It is going to be so weird to see her with teeth. I am so used to this gummy smile.
She is growing up so fast. Already 8 months old. We are enjoying her so dang much right now. She has her own personality and loves to laugh and play. She is starting to imitate people and is very ticklish. Kisses are still few and far in between but occasionally she will lean in for a big open mouth, juicy kiss for momma. I am still trying to teach her that she must kiss her momma every day.
She has been sleeping a LOT better lately. Usually she is dog tired between 8 & 8:30. Then she sleep until about 4-4:30am. I have been just bringing her into bed with me and cuddling. We both love it (or at least that's what I tell her "you LOVE to snuggle with momma"). When I get up to go to work, I just gently put her back in her own bed.
Her baby bath is ALMOST too small for her. So, it's almost time for big kid bathtub. For some reason, it scares me. I got a bath mat for her to sit on in the tub, but doesn't a normal size tub seem so scary for just a little girl? I am sure she will be fine and she will probably love it. Just more room to play with all her toys in.
It's pictures like the one above that make my heart so warm and filled with gratitude that I was trusted to be given her, the most wonderful gift. I try my hardest every day to to make sure that our baby girl grows up not only with the material things that she needs but also people around her that love her and play with her and give her every single bit of attention she needs.
And, Kris works even harder to provide everything our little family needs. But, I should save my proud Kris post for this Sunday :)
