I had a wonderful first Mother's Day yesterday! I got to sleep in until 9:15!! Seriously....I had to MAKE myself stay in bed to fall back asleep. I really do miss those lazy weekend mornings.
Then, I woke up to flowers and some new flower pots from Kris and Avery. So beautiful!
Then, we went to brunch with Butch and Dee at Joe Mamma's. That place has the WORST service of any restaurant I have ever been too. Yet, we keep going back because the food is so wonderful!
Then, we went and looked at cars. We need one...very very soon. It was such a beautiful day to walk around and look at at the awesome cars that we can't afford. Ha!
Then, we went to dinner at The Roadhouse. So very very yummy! Avery is now sitting in a highchair at restaurants. It still makes Kris (and me) so nervous so I had to hold the highchair the whole time just in-case someone accidentally kicked it over. He is a very overly cautious daddy and I love him for it.
Then, we finally got home. We both did some work around the house. Kris has been working so hard on our front and back yards the past few weeks. He really takes pride in it and I am so thankful that he cares so much and is such a hard worker.
Then, we watched one of our favorite shows, Celebrity Apprentice.
Then, we went to bed.
THEN, our darling daughter screamed for 40 minutes in her crib right when I fell asleep at 11pm.
THENNNN I finally caved and she slept next to me all night.
What a wonderful fun filled packed day with the people I love most in this world!
