Baby Blues as in eyeballs. Not as in post partum depression. Although, that would be a great post in and of itself.
ANWAY--I am trying hard not to compare everything with Hannah to Avery.
It's proven difficult though, because, after all...they are so close in age so baby Avery is still fresh in my memory.
But, I don't want Hannah to grow up thinking she is always 2nd to Surprise #1. (Surprise #1 only to reference that she was first to arrive, not that she is, in fact, the winner over the two)
--WITH THAT SAID--
Avery had blue eyes, but they changed around 8-10 months to Hazel like her fathers. Which, are stunning.
However, I am crossing my fingers that these beautiful blue eyes don't change. They are ta-die-for.
I realize that all I post about are my children. But they are so incredible, that I just can't help it. They are the best things that have ever happen to me. My eyes start to water the second I think about how lucky I am that I get to be their Momma. Seriously, I am blessed beyond measure with these two girls.
I am batting a 1000.
I'm talking about with our girls (You know...2 for 2 in the awesome department. It's a baseball term. But, you probably already knew that). That's not my real batting average with our co-ed softball team that we are on this Fall season. Momma needs to go to the batting cages. It's embarrassing how rusty I am with the stick. I feel like talking in baseball lingo makes me legit. Is it working yet, Kris?
SPEAKING of our co-ed softball team. I came up with our team name. And, I am pretty proud of it. We are: PITCHES-BE-CRAZY
Get it? It's hilarious. And, I feel like it's a direct reflection on my comedic skillzz.
No?
