We all wear things and then look back at pictures and thing "hmm...maybe not the best idea."  And, this is the case with the red dress I wore for the baby shower.  I honestly think it looked better in person, but that could be my conscious just trying to make myself feel better.

I got a little ahead of myself today.

Monday mornings are always hard for me anyways (let's face it here, every morning is hard)...and I made it even worse.  I thought I was 33 weeks today.  I even in excitement texted my sweet, Kris "only 7 more weeks!" this morning.

It wasn't until I got my weekly email that I realize I was wrong.  SO VERY wrong.  I even thought the email was wrong.  But, after double checking...my Monday blues are even worse.  I am strugglin' to say the least.

I AM ONLY 32 WEEKS TODAY:

Baby girl is about 3.75-4 pounds and about 16.7-17 inches long.  She is still rolling around in there and has hiccups several times a day that are strong enough for an "outsider" to feel with their hand.
I am gaining about a pound a week now until delivery. 
ONE.POUND.PER.WEEK.  I suppose that's only another 8 pounds or so, but suffice it to say I have already passed my 25lbs goal.  Ooops.  Maybe with the next baby things will be different. Ha!

This weekend was nice.  You know what we did?  Sleep in.  And, it was so fantastic.  We were so busy last weekend and got maybe 4 hours sleep each night that it felt so good to sleep in.  Saturday we slept in so long that by the time we ate Kris thanked me for making "brunch".  On Sunday we slept until 11:30.  I couldn't believe it.  I have not slept that late in a very long time.  He made me my favorite egg sandwich...I love those things.

We watched "River Monsters" marathon, cleaned a little, did more loads of baby girls laundry and had a few friends over for a small BBQ on Saturday along with playing Trivial Pursuit.  I hate that game.  It makes me feel like a dummy.  The only answer that I knew was to this question: "What "Designing Women" star made a clothing line for real sized women?"  Answer-Delta Burke. 

I don't know...I just wish I knew the smart people questions.  We did get a pie piece for that answer though, high five!

We also got some paint samples for the baby's room.  Kris insists on purple.  At first, I was hesitant...but I couldn’t get over how cute it was watching him pick out lavender paint samples for our little girl.  So, I gave in.  Hopefully we get those walls painted in the next 8 weeks...NOT 7. Duhh!

I sure hope I get a spunk in my step this afternoon.  Maybe something like a chocolate frosty would help??

Below is not a picture of MY insides...but I thought this inside view was awesome and shows so well what the baby looks like inside my belly.  I always have a hard time picturing what position she is in!

Look at all my poor organs to the side and on top getting scrunched!  I can sure feel that everything is very tight in there!

While us girls were having an estrogen filled baby shower, Kris and all his buddies went golfing.  They called it the "Baby Shower Open".  Get it??

There were 16 guys that came to support Kris and part of the requirement to play was that each guy had to bring a pack of diapers for the baby.

Look at what baby girl's daddy brought home for her!!



I did put 1 or 2 packs of diapers from the shower in there...and the diaper cake.  But everything else came from the MEN!!  Such a great idea that we got from my Aunt Erica and Uncle Ryan!

My family in California gave it to us and it is SOOO beautiful.  I almost never want disassemble it!  There are diapers, onesies, pacifiers, bottles, bibs, flowers, a baby thermometer and a cute stuffed dog.

My mom shipped the cake to me last week and I brought it to the baby shower on Sunday.  Everyone commented on how awesome it was!  Most diaper cakes you can buy are much smaller and not at all as detailed.  So, THANK YOU CALIFORNIA FAMILY!!  Love ya all!

And props to my man, Kris.  He played worked hard to get those diapers from his friends! 
Actually...he did work hard.  It was about 100 degrees on Sunday and they played 18 holes.  All I did was avoid going outside as much as possible and sit in a fluffy chair opening gifts!

First, let me start out by saying that our baby girl got more clothes this weekend then I have gotten in the last 10 years of my life!!

I swear this girl is going to be so stylish and will never wear an outfit more than once!

The baby shower this weekend was amazing.  It couldn’t have turned out better!  So many people that mean so much to me showed up and literally showered baby girl and me with so many gifts (TOO MANY GIFTS).  They completely spoiled me us. 
We are so lucky to have so many people that care about our girly girl! I will post pictures and more details later this week.

Also, Ashlee and I also got 6 bags FULL of baby clothes for $6.  Curious?  More on that later this week too.

But first, let's talk about this baby girls growth...

At 31 weeks baby girl is about 3 1/4 pounds and measures a little over 16 inches long.  She can now move her head side and side and is getting more and more fat on her tiny little bones.  She is about as heavy and large as 4 navel oranges.



 I feel her moving constantly now.  It rarely stops.  And that's a good sign!  She is healthy and happy in there.  Hiccups happen at least 3 times a day and that is also a sign of fetal health.  It feels almost like a strong pulse down in my lower belly that lasts about 30 seconds or so.  It seems all signs are pointing towards a healthy baby girl and we couldn't feel more blessed!

This is the truly time of our lives!
